I finally got my hands on a beautiful digital camera this past September. Since then, I carry it with me everywhere. And since last year, when i attended the Community Folklife Documentation Institute, i have gotten very interested in documenting people and portraiture. What i did not expect was to find that small town life is actually interesting to me when i am composing and framing. Images here are mainly of parades... yeah... I love 'em. I put my face behind a camera so people don't see the tears of joy in my eyes when the oversized chipmunks come over to shake my hand... i have issues, yes, but they could be so much worse.
